Shadowcaster

Shadowcatser are a lesser known young band from Dingle who send in a link to some of the music they have been working on for the past two years in their rehearsal room which is actually the garage at one of their houses!

The band are indie rock with a few dance rhythms to keep them sounding unique. They remind me of bands like Arctic Monkeys, The Academic and The Stone Roses. All songs are original and the band collaborate on the music and lyrics.

The band consists of Jack Healy on vocals, Stephen Murray on guitar, Will O Sullivan on drums and Olly O Callaghan on bass. The four have been friends since they were 12 years old (they are now 18) and have been playing music as Shadowcaster since they were 15. They are currently managed by Alex Murray who is Stephen’s father.

Shadowcaster play in a lot of the pubs around Kerry and are building up a small but dedicated fanbase. They post a lot of their music on YouTube and on Instagram where they already have over 3,000 followers.

The lads are also very interested in environmental issues and regularly encourage their fans to choose sustainable options whenever possible. Tickets for their gigs are available in digital form only to avoid paper waste.
